Why it sits here
Massage on its own rarely holds.
Here it is part of a plan.
Soft tissue work can release tension quickly, and that relief is real. But tight tissue is usually doing a job — compensating for something that is weak, stiff, or being loaded badly. Treat the tissue and nothing else, and the tension tends to return.
That is why massage here is offered alongside clinical Pilates and Osteolates Therapy, rather than as a standalone treatment-room service. You can book it on its own, and plenty of people do. But if the same area keeps tightening, the useful conversation is about what is causing it.
What it helps with
What people come in for.
Massage here is used for soft tissue problems, and for supporting recovery when something else is already being worked on.

Who treats you
Treated by a sports therapist,
not a spa therapist.
Teejay Sogunro founded The Sogunro Practice in 2001. He is a qualified sports therapist and a registered healthcare practitioner with the CNHC, with 25 years in clinical practice and 35 years in the field. From 2015 to 2018 he was Rehab Pilates Sports Therapist at Watford FC.
What he brings to a massage is a rehabilitation eye — reading why a muscle is behaving the way it is, and saying plainly when the answer is something massage will not fix. Full credentials and background
